Hawarden High School have allowed the club to use the junior ground on a Sunday morning so that the club can enter an under 9 team in the league for the first time. There is a lot of demand from local Primary schools for the club to have a team which is great for the long term success of the club. The club has a number of talent young female cricketers who are keen to play this year, so we hope to field mix teams in the under 9's, 11's and 15's this year, which is great for the club Please will all players and parents note that we have a responsibility to ensure that our cricket matches do not cause litter to be left on the field, so can we ensure that we collect any rubbish that may have been dropped after a match and dispose of it in the litter bins.
The club already has great links with Hawarden high school and we are always looking for ways to strengthen this partnership. Recently we have offered the school an opportunity for some of its pupils to work with the club's architect in the design and drawings for the new pavilion plans. Four pupils have expressed an interest in helping out on the project; They all have ambitions of becoming architects or something similar. So we hope they find this opportunity useful, and we look forward to their contribution on the project
